Fresno fire sparks investigation | YourCentralValley.com

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A grass fire broke out in Fresno Monday afternoon, according to the North Central Fire Department.

According to the fire department, North Central units responded to a small grass fire at Shields and Bryant avenues around 2:30 p.m


A total of seven Apiratus and a total of 15 people were on site.

According to the fire department, the fire is a vegetation fire. None of the fires reached surrounding buildings and there were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.

Firefighters say with warmer temperatures, it’s important to create safe space around homes and clear weeds and tall grass.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
