Redmond police arrest criminals after three-hour standoff | Redmond News

A Redmond man was arrested Friday evening after a three-hour standoff that began after police received multiple shots fired at a home.

Redmond police were called to a home near Southwest 27th Street and Pumice Place after a man allegedly fired multiple shots from inside the home. Police said the caller took the gun away from the man before leaving the house. However, officers reportedly believed the man might have access to additional weapons in the home.

Residents near Southwest Pumice Place in Redmond received an alert warning them to seek shelter due to an impending emergency just after 7 p.m. The alert was mistakenly sent to all of Deschutes County rather than the intended neighborhood. A second warning followed a few minutes later as the correction was made.

The neighborhood was closed for approximately three hours during the multi-agency response.

Police said they safely arrested 59-year-old Robby Dulley on multiple felony charges, including threatening, unlawful use of a weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
