Helicopter crash at Fort Riley, injuring two people. Investigations are under investigation

FORT RILEY – Two soldiers are recovering from their injuries in a helicopter crash that occurred Tuesday at Fort Riley, according to Fort Riley Public Affairs Officer Jefferson Grimes.

The incident involving a Boeing AH-64 occurred during the Combat Aviation Brigade’s gunnery training.

According to Grimes, the injured crew members are receiving the necessary medical treatment. Their names have not been published.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
