Soccer star opens Mahana Fresh in Houston

Mahana Fresh is headed to Space City with the opening next week at 17195 Tomball Pkwy., in Houston, owned by Washington Wizards star and entrepreneur Kyle Kuzma. It also has a location in Gainesville, Virginia.

“I am very excited to bring Mahana Fresh to Houston and tap into a new market with my team,” Kuzma said in a company press release. “We have seen firsthand how Mahana Fresh can bring people together through its fresh, healthy food options. Houston’s vibrant and growing market provides the perfect backdrop for Mahana Fresh’s success.”

Based in Sarasota, Florida, Mahana Fresh follows the concept of creating a bowl with only gluten-free menu items.
