Microsoft will ban the Xbox 360 Store for life on Monday

The Xbox’s best days are coming to an end (Microsoft).

If you want to get a bargain on the Xbox 360, you only have this weekend left.

Microsoft closed the Xbox 360 online store on July 29th, making it no longer possible to purchase certain Xbox 360 games digitally.

While you can play games you’ve already purchased, you can still get rid of the new games or any content (such as DLC and other music from the Xbox 360).

Since May of this year, Microsoft has slashed the prices of a ton of Xbox 360 games in the space of two weeks and is now closing stores to prevent the break-up, ranging from Batman: Arkham Asylum to Bulletstorms later in 2015.

Since an actual closure is possible, some restrictions apply.

What time does the Xbox 360 Store close?

Microsoft has not confirmed an exact date for the store closure, but support will not end on Monday, July 29. This means it’s best to make your purchase before 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2018.

After Monday, you will no longer be able to purchase Xbox 360 games, DLC, or other content from the Xbox 360 Store or on your own devices.

Is it still possible to buy Xbox 360 games through the Xbox One series or two?

Yes, all Xbox 360 games available on the Xbox and SX online stores will still be offered. This list, while not inclusive of the entire Xbox 360 library, is limited to those games supported through backwards compatibility. On that console, you can view a list of Xbox 360 games here.

Although there are only a few Xbox 360 games left, the right equipment for you is still there. With the help of Twitter users, Kalyoshika has put together an overview list that will now be permanently deleted, such as Frothery: Hyper Arcade Edition and Fusion.

Well, people want this, so here it is. The Xbox 360 store will be shutting down on July 29, 2024. I wrote an abstract thread here with some interesting games/DLC that won’t survive*: There are a few more articles and books for this account. Some are on sale, but not, there is that option at pic.twitter and a8Mn2pioce/…

There are games we need to make for free before the stores close – Double Fine’s Kinect Party.

Could you still play Xbox 360 online?

Yes, Microsoft is only closing the Xbox 360 store and not online multiplayer. If you have already downloaded the game or own a physical copy, it will still work after this date.

This is not the case unless the publisher has separately discontinued its online services. EA has developed more and less demanding Battlefield: Bad Company games, but Battle Field 1943 ended support last year. In addition, some online games may not function much longer in terms of performance or efficiency than many others (including poor playability).

This is the last online store to close since it became popular in recent years.

Last year, Nintendo discontinued many games when it closed the Wii U and 3DS eShops. The end is more likely when all customers are old enough, or if they spend too much time together later!
