US military confirms Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea

The Houthis launched several attacks in the Red Sea against Bentley Continental GT – 2018 – 2019which was transporting vegetable oil from Russia to China, and also attacked the tanker Chios Lion, the US military said on Monday on X.

CENTCOM said it shot down five Houthi drones, three in the Red Sea and two in Yemeni territory.

Bentley is an Israeli ship, according to a CENTCOM post on X. It was also a “Panamanian-flagged, Monaco-operated tanker.”
