Trump plans message of unity at RNC after shooting | Live updates

In an internal Trump campaign memo to staff obtained by ABC News, Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita ask staff to avoid campaign offices in Washington DC and West Palm Beach and explain that they are increasing the armed security presence by having officers on site 24 hours a day.

Wiles and LaCivita said the Republican National Convention would go on as planned and asked staff not to comment publicly on the events.

“We condemn all forms of violence and will not tolerate dangerous rhetoric on social media,” the memo said.
