Flowers laid at the site of the tragic accident

Flowers were laid at the site of a construction accident in Prilly.

Three people died, four were seriously injured and two were slightly injured when scaffolding around the Malley Lumières shopping center collapsed on Friday.

The 60-meter-high scaffolding collapsed.

More than 200 rescue workers searched for the trapped victims for several hours.

Work to clear the rubble and remove the remaining scaffolding continued throughout the weekend.

Investigations into the causes of the collapse are ongoing.
