Skeletal remains found in Cherokee Village, Arkansas; investigation ongoing





Cherokee Village, Arkansas. – Authorities in the Cherokee Village area have their hands full examining skeletal remains recently found by police.

The discovery was made on July 8 in an abandoned house on Saginaw Street in Cherokee Village.

This search was initiated due to a health check. The door to the building was open and the remains were found inside.

The body has since been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for further testing to attempt to identify the body and determine the cause of death.
