Three arrested, one at large in investigation into Georgia shooting

TOCCOA – Three people have been arrested and one man is still at large in the investigation into a shooting at a Georgia home that occurred after an argument.

The GBI has arrested and charged Zatorian Y’Deetris Lacy, 21, of Toccoa, GA, with obstruction of justice and disturbing the peace, Christopher Rentrell Lacy, 28, of Toccoa, GA, with making false statements, and Shane Ladarious Lacy, 20, of Toccoa, GA, with making false statements. Agents have obtained arrest warrants for Larquavious De’Shyne “Shyne” Colbert, 22, of Toccoa, GA, with aggravated assault and use of a firearm near a public road. Colbert is wanted by law enforcement.

Toccoa Police requested assistance from the GBI in investigating a shooting that occurred on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at approximately 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday afternoon, Toccoa police officers responded to Stephens County Hospital in search of a shooting victim. The victim was later transported to another hospital where he is currently being treated.

The investigation revealed that the victim was shot after an argument in a house on West Whitman Street.
