The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has confirmed that its suspended Assin Central Secretary Sadique Broni Yeboah will be given a fair hearing before the party’s disciplinary committee.

This is a response to Yeboah’s ultimatum to lift the ban.

Yeboah and the Assin Central Regional Chairman were suspended after they were involved in the suspension of the constituency’s parliamentary candidate, Nurein Shiabu Migyimah.

In a letter to the Secretary-General, Yeboah’s lawyers called for the suspension to be lifted, citing procedural irregularities and a violation of natural justice.

However, Abraham Amaliba, NDC’s Director of Dispute Resolution, clarified in an interview that the suspension was subject to review by the Disciplinary Committee, stressing that Yeboah would be given the opportunity to present his case and rehabilitate himself.

“He will have to appear before the disciplinary committee to rehabilitate himself,” Amaliba assured during the interview with Eyewitness News on Citi FM.
