3-year-old found dead after reported drowning in Scott County, sheriff’s office says

SCOTT COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) – According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, a three-year-old boy was found dead after officers were called to a reported drowning.

A sheriff’s office spokesperson confirmed to 6 News that officers responded to a drowning report around 8 p.m. on July 1.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a dead three-year-old boy.

The sheriff’s office said the incident occurred in Scott County, but further details have not been released.
