Amber Alert issued for abducted child in Passaic County

Passaic County authorities have issued an Amber Alert to thousands of residents, asking them to be on the lookout for a man who kidnapped a child overnight.

The warning was sent around 1:35 a.m. on Friday.

According to police, the suspect, identified as Mr. Junior Nunez, is a black man who was last seen in Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey.

He drives a black 2012 Acura MDX with the New Jersey license plate “Y78SYU.”

The kidnapped child is a two-year-old boy named Zander Abad. Authorities are asking anyone who sees the vehicle or a suspect to call 911 immediately.

No further details about the kidnapping were disclosed.
