Former MP’s daughter was raped and blackmailed by former SP Yuvjan Sabha state secretary and extorted over Rs 6 crore

Crimes in Uttar Pradesh: A former SP Yuvjan Sabha secretary has been accused of raping the daughter of a former MP and extorting money from her for the last five years. The defendant allegedly took obscene photos of the victim and used them to blackmail her. On the pretext of deleting the photos, he collected a sum of Rs 6 million.

After the death of the victim’s father last year, the defendant tried to acquire a petrol pump and property. He reportedly promised to delete the obscene photos if the petrol pump was transferred to his name. The police have registered an FIR against the accused, his wife, son and brother and launched a search.

The victim’s father, who served as an MLA, had three daughters including the victim. The victim said that she had married a businessman in Kanpur 11 years ago but often visited her parents’ house to take care of her ailing father.

On April 4, 2019, the accused, identified as Asif Ali alias Shivli Chaudhary, visited the victim’s father. He allegedly mixed intoxicants into a cold drink and forced her to consume it, then raped her and took explicit photos. The accused threatened to upload the photos on the internet if she revealed the incident to anyone, he even showed a revolver and threatened to kill her. The victim further alleged that the accused raped her repeatedly in their house while his wife remained outside the door. He also used intimidation to force her to sign various documents, including during a court visit where his lawyer brother helped manipulate her.

CO Civil Lines Arpit Kapoor confirmed that a police report was lodged based on the victim’s statement. An FIR has been registered against Asif Ali alias Shivli Chaudhary, his son Fahat Ali, his wife Farhana and his brother Vicky Chaudhary. The investigation is currently ongoing.

The victim also revealed that the accused forced her to make full payment for an apartment in Supertech Society by transferring the property into his name. Shivli Chaudhary allegedly threatened to throw acid on her face. SP district president Jaiveer Singh Yadav clarified that Asif Ali alias Shivli Chaudhary has no connection with the SP party.
