Bristol man pointed his gun at another driver during aggressive driving

BRISTOL, Connecticut (WTNH) – A Bristol man pointed a gun at a motorist and cut him off during an altercation between motorists on Interstate 95 in Old Saybrook on Thursday, Connecticut State Police said.

Dejon Harvey Robinson, 30, was charged with three counts of endangering a child, four counts of second-degree breach of peace, four counts of first-degree threatening and four counts of first-degree reckless endangerment. Police said Robinson had children in the vehicle during the incident.


Robinson was driving near Old Saybrook around 6:20 p.m. when he repeatedly braked the other vehicle, pulled up next to her and then pointed the gun at her, according to state police. The victims were able to give police the description of the driver, license plate number and description of the gun.

Shortly thereafter, police officers were able to stop Robinson’s vehicle on Route 9 in Middletown.

He was released on $10,000 bail.
