INDEPENDENT NEWS MEDIA

Within four days, nine vehicles were damaged in a Phoenix neighborhood, most of them with “biased elements,” police said Saturday.

Investigators are investigating after receiving reports of property damage that occurred between June 18 and 21 in an area of 22and Street to 32and Street and McDowell to Thomas Roads.

On June 19, officers responded to several homes in the area and found damaged vehicles.

“In each of these incidents, it was determined that there were elements of bias,” Phoenix police said in a press release.

On June 22, officers again responded to several homes in the same area, again with reports of property damage to vehicles in front of those homes. One of those cases was “biased,” police said.

During this period, nine vehicles were damaged, seven of which were caused by an accident. Six of the incidents occurred on the night of June 18 and the other three on the night of June 21, the press release said.

Phoenix Police are asking anyone in the area and surrounding neighborhoods to assist in the investigation with information, including outdoor surveillance video.
