Jay Slater’s father makes a six-word request to his son when he visits the search site

When Jay Slater’s father visited the site in Tenerife where teams are searching for the teenager on Saturday, June 22, he made an emotional appeal to him to bring his son back safely.

“I just want my boy back,” said Warren Slater, supported by Jay’s brother Zak, as he arrived at the crime scene in Masca, near where the 19-year-old was last seen.

Mr Slater, from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, disappeared while attempting to walk back to his accommodation after missing a bus and was last heard from on Monday morning.

Before he disappeared, he had attended the NRG music festival on the island with two friends.
