Scott posted bail hours later and had already released goods to capitalize on the arrest in Miami Beach.

La Flame has released a T-shirt commemorating his arrest, featuring a graphic featuring a doctored photo of his mug shot. The “Butterfly Effect” rapper is selling the shirt on his website for a limited time, retailing for $35.

It’s a plain dark brown Cactus Jack t-shirt with a small image of the mug shot, edited to show Scott’s signature smile versus the original blank stare into the camera. “It’s Miami” is written beneath the image to sum up Trav’s reaction to the encounter with the police.

“The defendant later admitted that he had been drinking alcohol and said, ‘It’s Miami,'” the affidavit, obtained by Billboard.

The “Free the Rage #2” t-shirt featuring Scott’s mugshot will ship in a week and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the shirt will go to the Cactus Jack Foundation.

This isn’t the first time Travis Scott has tried to capitalize on an arrest. He previously spent 24 hours selling a white T-shirt with the mugshot from his 2017 arrest in Arkansas, where he was charged with inciting a riot at his concert. He eventually pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in 2018.

As for his most recent run-in with the law, Scott was booked into the Miami-Dade County Jail after being arrested in Miami Beach early Thursday at 1:17 a.m. He is charged with trespassing and being intoxicated.

A source familiar with the situation says Billboard that Scott was already home after posting bail and that there was no physical altercation at the event described as a party.

Scott, 33, posted his mugshot in an Instagram story post, adding a pair of white headphones and brown sunglasses.

“Chess, not checkers,” fellow Houstonian Bun B wrote on his Instagram story, praising Scott’s entrepreneurial spirit for turning something negative into something positive.

Scott will be heard on Friday (June 21) when he appears as a guest on Mustard’s single “Parking Lot.”
