Russia and Ukraine are reportedly carrying out attacks away from the front line

Ukraine claims Russia carried out a drone strike in the country, while Ukrainian forces reportedly attacked oil facilities in Russia.

In Ukraine, the armed forces of both countries are involved in fierce fighting, especially on the Eastern Front.

The Ukrainian Air Force said that Russia also attacked urban areas with 21 drones during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, and that Ukraine destroyed 19 of them.

The mayor of the western Ukrainian city of Lviv said debris from the drones had damaged a residential building, a research institute and other buildings, and one injured person had been taken to hospital.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian public broadcaster quoted a source in the country’s navy as saying that an attack using Ukrainian Neptune anti-ship missiles was carried out early Tuesday morning on oil facilities in the southern Russian region of Krasnodar, more than 250 kilometers from the front line.

An oil depot in the Rostov region of southern Russia also caught fire in a drone attack on Tuesday. According to media reports, Ukrainian intelligence was involved in the attack.
