Apartment fire in Southside: More than 20 people affected, 1 dog killed

JFRD said no one was injured in a fire at the Bentley Green Apartments, 9500 Princeton Square Blvd., and the Red Cross is assisting 12 adults and 12 children. Four two-story units were affected.

A dog is missing, the agency said.

The JFRD was called shortly after 9:30 a.m. The cause of the fire is still being investigated, according to the JFRD.

Crews are working on a second fire call at an apartment in the 9500 block of Princeton Square Blvd.
