Opelousas police chief unharmed after attack during traffic stop | Local

OPELOUSAS, Louisiana (KADN) – Opelousas Police Chief Graig LeBlanc was attacked during a traffic stop but was unharmed.

News 15 learned that the officer on scene during the traffic stop requested backup. LeBlanc was one of the officers who came to help.

At some point, as we are told, a “brawl” broke out.

The boss was not treated on site or in hospital.

We have also been informed that the suspect in question has not been arrested.
