Alex Dietz, 26, was charged with 10 counts of distributing content depicting a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12, KSP said in a news release Wednesday.

WARSAW, Ky. (FOX 56) – Kentucky State Police (KSP) said its Electronic Crimes Unit has charged a man as part of an undercover investigation.

KSP said investigators interviewed Dietz on Tuesday at his workplace in Warsaw. In the interview, court documents state that Dietz admitted to “viewing pornography that was under 18 years old” on his cell phone.

According to court documents, Dietz gave investigators his phone, where they reportedly discovered additional “child sexual abuse material.”

Dietz was charged with 10 counts of distributing content depicting a sexual performance by a minor under 12, according to KSP. According to authorities, these are Class C felonies, punishable by five to 10 years in prison.

Dietz was lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
