Sonya Saamoor, who has been very outspoken about the problems in the country, has expressed her opinion on the incident. Sonya says, “It is not appropriate to use physical violence in any situation. Even though Kangana Ranaut’s statements were controversial, it is neither justified nor acceptable to deal with conflict or disagreement by responding with physical violence. To maintain decency and order, issues should be addressed through dialogue, legal or formal channels.”

Apart from this, Sonya Saamoor also shares her views on democracy. Many people asked Kangana if democracy is under threat. Responding to this question, the Hero Gayab actress told Mode On, “It is indeed disturbing when individuals who support democracy and freedom of expression condone the actions of security forces who use violence against an actor or politician. In a true democracy, everyone has the right to express their opinion without fear of physical retaliation. Upholding democratic values means respecting different points of view, even those that we may strongly disagree with. Physical violence undermines the principles of free speech and democratic debate, which are fundamental to a healthy society.”
