Man dead after shooting in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A man is dead after a shooting Saturday night in Chesapeake, police said.

At approximately 6:45 p.m., Chesapeake Police officers responded to an injured man in the 1100 block of Sir Lancelot Drive. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and life-threatening injuries. He died at the hospital.

This incident is under investigation.
