1 dead in motorcycle crash in Ledyard – NBC Connecticut

A Groton man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Ledyard on Wednesday evening.

According to police, 22-year-old Andrew Haydon was driving on Christy Hill Road around 8 p.m. when he crashed into a railing.

Haydon was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. He was the only one on the motorcycle, police said.
