Two people arrested after shooting that leads to chase in northwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Police say two people were arrested after a shooting led to a chase Wednesday morning.

According to Oklahoma City police, officers responded to a call of a shooting around 3 a.m. when they were dispatched to an apartment complex near NW 122nd Street and Western Avenue.


When officers arrived, two cars left the scene. When police attempted to stop one car, the driver stopped and was arrested. The second vehicle led police on a chase at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded, conducted a tactical vehicle intervention (TVI), and arrested the second suspect near NW 63rd St. and Broadway Extension.

According to officials, there may be two victims with non-life-threatening injuries.

Since the investigation is still ongoing, no further information is available.
