Suspected child abuser arrested by authorities

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – A man has been arrested by authorities on charges of promoting/distributing child pornography in Montgomery County.

Officials said Lance Findley was arrested after officers executed a search warrant at a home in Richmond.

Authorities said the search warrant resulted from an investigation by the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Internet Crimes Against Children Unit related to the promotion and distribution of child pornography in The Woodlands.

Officials said the investigation revealed that Findley was linked to the promotion and possession of thousands of images depicting child violence and child sexual abuse.

Findley is charged with five counts of promoting/distributing child pornography in Montgomery County.

Findley was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and is being held on $300,000 bail.
