A new Buffalo-themed restaurant is now open in Florida

If the warm weather has activated your “vacation mode,” you’ve probably already considered a trip to Florida this summer. And while vacations are fun, there’s one thing Western New Yorkers miss most when traveling: the food.

Luckily, the next time you travel to Florida, you won’t run out of time to enjoy the great food that Buffalo has to offer, because a newly opened restaurant in Florida is every Buffalo resident’s dream!

Florida’s newest restaurant is entirely on the theme of Buffalo, and anyone who’s tried food in Buffalo, from wings to beef and beyond, knows we do it best. So it’s no surprise that a restaurant is opening its doors offering all the classic Buffalo dishes!

The restaurant is called Buffalo Grill and is located at 1021 Estero Boulevard, Fort Myers Beach, FL. It features many Buffalo features, including several signs that reinforce Buffalo pride in our sports teams (such as the Bandits, Sabers and Bills), a Buffalo statue and much more!

Owners Fred Mallone and Bill Wagner are excited to open their own piece of Buffalo in Fort Myers Beach.

The restaurant opened its doors in mid-May and is enjoying rapid success! Wagner said: “There is a huge WNY contingency in Southwest Florida that craves hometown flavors. We wanted to bring that here and offer the community a new and exciting place after the devastation of Hurricane Ian. “

“We can’t change the past,” Wagner said. “But we can help them rebuild a small part of the future.” »
