Police close West Haven Road after a shooting

WEST HAVEN, Connecticut (WTNH) – West Haven Police have closed Peck Avenue and the surrounding area after receiving reports that a person was shot Monday evening.

A preliminary report confirms that one person was shot and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the police, investigations are currently underway and it is assumed that this is an isolated case and there is no further danger to the public.
