Police arrest suspect after fatal triple shooting over weekend

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting over the weekend in the northwest valley.

Keveon Glenn, 29, was identified as a suspect in the shooting that left one person dead and two others injured on Saturday afternoon, May 18, and was taken into custody on May 23, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.

The shooting occurred in the 7300 block of Prairie Falcon Road, off Tenaya Way, north of Smoke Ranch Road. When officers arrived at the scene, they found three gunshot victims. According to the Clark County Coroner’s Office, 41-year-old Carl Chester Jr. died from multiple gunshot wounds. The other two victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Glenn faces one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of conspiracy to commit murder. He is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in court on May 28.

Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department did not disclose whether there are any remaining suspects.
