Rapper allegedly raped a woman in the 1990s

Another lawsuit has been filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs. This time, it’s from a woman who accuses the rapper of assault and sexual assault. The allegations stem from incidents that allegedly took place in the mid-90s.

In April Lampros’ Thursday filing in New York County Superior Court, obtained by USA TODAY, she claims to have met the music mogul in 1994 when she was a student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

She claims that he initially “showered her with expressions of affection” and “showered her with gifts and flowers,” but “what Mr. Combs began as a friendly gesture quickly developed into an aggressive, coercive and abusive relationship based on sex.”

She describes a rape that allegedly took place in 1995, as well as a sexual assault some time after the first incident that took place in a car and which she says a parking attendant witnessed. She also says there was an incident in 1996 in which Combs forced her and his girlfriend Kim Porter (who died in 2018 and had four children with her) to take ecstasy and have sex with each other before raping her.

Lampros also claims that Combs attacked her in her apartment in 2000 or 2001. The lawsuit names Combs, his label Bad Boy Records and Arista Records as defendants.

USA TODAY has reached out to a Combs spokesperson for comment. TMZ first reported the news.

“Combs promised to mentor her, introduce her to music and fashion industry executives, and assist her in finding employment,” Lampros’ lawsuit states.

“She felt that if she disobeyed him, he would take away her dreams of a career in his world. Mr. Combs also threatened to blacklist her from the industry if she tried to mess with him in any way.”

The file also contains several photos, including one of the two and “a friend” at Bad Boy Studios, as well as an alleged Valentine’s Day card and an invitation to a Father’s Day party.
