Colleyville, Texas man arrested for stabbing his wife

COLLEYVILLE, Texas — A 57-year-old man was jailed Tuesday in the fatal stabbing attack on his wife at their Colleyville home, police said.

According to a police news release, Jason Hudiburg was arrested Tuesday after police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 6700 block of St. Moritz Parkway at McDonwell School Road.

When officers arrived, they found a female victim, Cathy Jones-Hudiburg, 57, unconscious on the kitchen floor with a stab wound. Two male family members were also in the house at the time and were arrested by police. Paramedics responded, but Jones-Hudiburg died at the scene, police said.

Police conducted interviews and said Jason Hudiburg confessed to stabbing his wife.

He was taken into custody on murder charges and taken to the Tarrant County Jail, where his bond was set at $200,000.

Police were still investigating the incident late Tuesday. No further information was released.
