New Realm opens second location in South Carolina

The beloved Atlanta-based brewery continues to expand across the Southeast.

GREENVILLE, SC — An Atlanta-based craft brewery continues to expand across the Southeast.

New Realm Brewing Co. opened a new location in Greenville, South Carolina last week. This is the company’s fifth brewery in less than a decade since its launch, according to a report from the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

“More beer in more places is a good thing,” Carey Falcone, CEO and co-founder of New Realm, said in a statement.

Falcone, Bob Powers and Mitch Steele launched New Realm in 2016 with a flagship location on the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail, spanning 20,000 square feet along the popular pedestrian corridor.

New Realm has since expanded to Auburn, Alabama; Charleston, South Carolina; and Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The Greenville location focuses on “brewing creativity and innovation,” according to the announcement. The team says it plans, among other things, mixed culture fermentations, strong barrel-aged beers, sour styles and fruity beers.
