Man arrested in connection with multiple vandalism incidents in Waterbury – NBC Connecticut

A man has been taken into custody in connection with recent vandalism incidents in Waterbury.

The incidents occurred between Friday and Monday at various businesses across the city. According to police, the tires of several cars were slashed and graffiti was found on several buildings.

A man was arrested and faces charges including second- and third-degree criminal assault. Additionally, police said he violated the terms of his probation.

He was taken into custody on Monday and arraigned in court on Tuesday. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.

Police are investigating further incidents of vandalism at this time. According to the police, further arrests are to be expected.
