Armenia detains 88 protesters opposed to Azerbaijan land deal: police

Armenian police said on Monday they had arrested dozens of people who tried to block roads in the capital Yerevan as part of protests against the government’s plans to hand over land to Azerbaijan.

The Interior Ministry confirmed to AFP that 88 people had been arrested and said protesters had failed to block streets in Yerevan.
