OSBI is searching for a person of interest in the Chickasha triple murder

Authorities are investigating a triple murder in Chickasha on Saturday. At approximately 11:30 a.m., Chickasha Police responded to a residence in the area of ​​South 6th Street and Washington Avenue for a reported shooting. When they arrived, they found three deceased people inside with gunshot wounds. The victims were two adult women and one adult man. Chickasha police then called the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to assist in the investigation. As of 5 p.m. Saturday, OSBI said they were working to locate 22-year-old Jacob Mayhugh, who is a person of interest in the case. According to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office, Mayhugh was supposed to drive to his parents’ house a mile away, but he never arrived and has not been seen since. He was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Friday in Chickasha, driving around Almar Drive and South Fourth Street in his tan 2000 GMC Yukon SUV, license plate #FIG110. The identities of the victims have not yet been released. It was not clear where or whether the victims knew the person involved or what their relationship was.
