  • 3 counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault, a Class X felony.
  • Criminal sexual assault, a Class 1 felony.

In April 2024, the victim was found to be pregnant and later gave birth.

Using a cheek swab DNA test from current and former male employees of Marklund, the Kane County Sheriff’s Office obtained a sealed warrant to arrest Field after his DNA test came back positive.

Fields was arrested on Friday, May 10 and taken to the Kane County Jail, where he remains while the case is pending.

“The defendant faces serious charges for his heinous actions against a vulnerable person,” Mosser said. “I want to thank the Sheriff’s Office for their thorough investigation.” Our office is committed to bringing justice to victims and arresting perpetrators of such egregious acts

fully responsible for crimes. We will vigorously pursue this case to ensure justice is served and to protect our community from such reprehensible acts.”
