According to Indian media reports, Pavitra Jayaram, a famous Kannada actress, died after a tragic car accident on Sunday.

The incident took place in the Indian state of Telangana when Pavitra was traveling in a vehicle with her family members and friends.

The vehicle collided with a divider and a bus in the accident, resulting in her death. Other occupants of the vehicle reportedly sustained injuries.

Jayaram was known for her roles in Telugu serials and her extensive work in the television industry. She also appeared in a few films.
