Two people killed in crash on Highway 68 near Salinas – KION546

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) – CHP officers are on the scene of a fatal crash on Highway 68 near Spreckels Boulevard on Friday.

Caltrans traffic cameras show traffic slowing in the area.

The CHP confirmed that two people were killed and that a white Honda and a gray Mazda were involved in the crash.

The CHP also said one person in each car died in the crash.

Currently, Westbound Road 68 is congested, but the CHP says the left lane is open for traffic.

Spreckels Boulevard at the westbound ramp is currently closed.
