Man wanted, woman arrested for stabbing

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A man is in the hospital and recovering after a knife attack in Boone County, according to West Virginia State Police.

State police report the stabbing occurred around 4:30 p.m. Thursday on Meadow Fork Road in the Hewett area.

The victim is in stable condition in the intensive care unit, officials say.

The victim told law enforcement that she was sleeping when a man entered the home. He said he was woken up by the man who stabbed him.

According to police, Kobe Allen Miller has been accused of the stabbing.

According to police, Miller will be charged with first-degree assault and burglary if he is caught.

State police arrested a woman involved after the crime occurred.

Taea Ladawn Scruggs is charged with accessory after the fact.

Scruggs is being held at the South Central Regional Jail.
