Police: 1 dead after accident in Bristol, Tennessee | WJHL

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) – One person was pronounced dead following a crash in Bristol, Tennessee, Friday morning.

According to the Bristol Tennessee Police Department (BTPD), officers were called to a multi-vehicle crash in the 900 block of Weaver Pike just before 11 a.m

Two vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident.

Three people were transported by ambulance to Bristol Regional Medical Center.

When the patients arrived at the hospital, one of them was pronounced dead, according to BTPD.

Police have not released the identity of the deceased person pending notification of next of kin.

The crash remains under investigation as of Friday afternoon. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact BTPD Sergeant Mike Still at 423-989-5600.
