2 dead, several injured in accident in Egg Harbor Township

According to authorities, two people were killed and several others injured in a head-on collision in Egg Harbor Township on Friday evening.

According to police, a silver Nissan Sentra was traveling west on Black Horse Pike after 8 p.m. when it crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with a Kia.

According to authorities, a total of four cars were involved in the accident.

Two vehicles went off the road, one was hit by flying debris and another caught fire.

Police said Escarlin Surie of Atlantic City and Gabriella Constrantino of Pleasantville were killed. Seven other people were hospitalized.

Authorities say the accident is still under investigation.
