Man killed in hit-and-run in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood – NBC10 Philadelphia

A man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle fleeing the scene of an accident in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood Sunday morning, police said.

According to police officials, a man was arrested at the scene after he was hit in the 4200 block of Aramingo Avenue around 6:10 a.m. Sunday.

Officials said the man was probably dragged by the vehicle and that police were unable to determine the man’s identity until about 7 a.m. because he suffered very serious injuries in the incident.

Furthermore, the police have not yet provided any information about the circumstances of the accident, nor a description of the vehicle presumably involved in the incident.

However, police officials said the investigation was ongoing and they would provide an update on the incident later on Sunday.
