1 dead in crash on I-77 north of Charlotte – WSOC TV

CHARLOTTE – One person died in a crash late Friday afternoon on Interstate 77 South, north of the Sunset Road exit in north Charlotte, MEDIC confirmed.

Most lanes were closed, but some traffic continued to flow.

However, the accident has caused a large traffic jam. Avoid the area.

Someone else suffered life-threatening injuries, MEDIC said.
