Fox Factory’s new Chevy super truck features app-customizable suspension

Suspension specialist Fox Factory has created an incredible limited edition 700 horsepower Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

The Fox Factory Truck promises tremendous performance both on the road and in rough terrain thanks to the latest suspension technology.

This includes the ability to adjust the shock absorber settings in the Chevrolet Silverado and refine them using a smartphone app.

Fox’s Live Valve suspension shocks are considered the first choice for off-road performance and are standard on extremely powerful trucks like the Ford F-150 Raptor.

The ultimate Chevy Silverado uses Fox Factory’s latest 3.2 Factory Race Series Live Valve shocks. These are combined with new technology from software company Valtech that allows suspension settings to be adjusted via the Fox smartphone app.

Drivers can tailor suspension settings for different surfaces and view data and telemetry from previous rides. The app can also receive wireless software updates.

Inside the Silverado, there’s a dedicated switch panel that lets you adjust the suspension while driving, allowing you to instantly switch between modes as needed.

The refined suspension is just part of the upgrades for the Fox Factory Silverado. Its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine produces a whopping 700 horsepower, and a stainless steel Borla exhaust tops it off.

There is also extensive use of lightweight carbon material for the body, special BF Goodrich tires on the 17-inch wheels and forward-facing LED lighting with 60,000 lumens.

Inside, you’ll find two-tone leather seats with orange stitching and Alcantara suede inserts. The Chevy also features steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

Fox is now accepting expressions of interest for the truck and is asking a hefty price of $209,999 (£162,000), which at least includes a three-year or 36,000-mile warranty.
