China after shooting at Trump rally: Foreign Ministry spokesman

BEIJING – China is monitoring the shooting incident at a campaign rally of former U.S. President Donald Trump, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Sunday.

Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed his condolences to Trump, who was injured in the shooting, the spokesman said in response to a media inquiry.
