Man who killed his wife and two daughters called it an accidental death and was arrested

Khammam:Raghunadapalem police on Sunday arrested physiotherapist Boda Praveen, who killed his wife and two children, citing a road accident as the cause of death.

Praveen’s wife Boda Kumari, 26, and daughters Krushika, 4, and Thaniska, 3, were found dead in a car that crashed into a tree in Raghunadaplem. Praveen was also found with minor injuries on June 28.

When Kumari’s parents raised doubts about the accident, the police investigated, found that Praveen had killed his wife and children, and arrested him.

Introducing the accused to the media, Deputy Commissioner of Police SV Ramana Murthy said Praveen, a resident of Bavoji Thanda, worked in a private hospital in Hyderabad and had come to his hometown with his family on June 17 on the pretext of visiting his ailing mother.

He drove to Khammam with his wife and children and looked for work there.

When his wife complained of feeling unwell during the trip, he carried out his plan. After his wife’s death, he killed his two men in the car.

Later, he was driving his car on his village route and deliberately hit a tree between Manchukonda and Harya Thanda to make it look like an accident.

He said Praveen had started an extramarital affair with a woman from Kerla, Soni Francis, and decided to kill his wife when she questioned him about the matter. The postmortem report also helped the police crack the case.
