Pulaski police are searching for a “missing, endangered” man who was last seen in Pulaski

PULASKI, Va. (WFXR) — Police in Pulaski are asking for the community’s help in finding a missing and endangered man who was last seen on May 6th.

The Pulaski Police Department (PPD) says it is searching for 33-year-old Paul Michael Hanks. During their investigation, officers learned that Hanks was captured on video footage near the Food Lion at 1200 East Main Street around 7:45 a.m


Police said Hanks appeared to be walking on the New River Trail toward Hiwassee/Allisonia.

Officials said Hanks may have been seen on the trail around 9 a.m. and previously lived in the area.

He is described as being about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes. According to PPD, he was last seen wearing a black hoodie or jacket with blue jeans and carrying a small backpack.
