Man shot in Brooklyn after aggressive driving: Police

An angry driver shot and killed a man during a road rage argument in Brooklyn on Monday night, authorities said.

The incident occurred after two vehicles collided outside a deli at 1424 Flatbush Avenue around 7:35 p.m. on July 9, police said. Tempers flared and an unknown suspect pulled out a black handgun and fired at the 25-year-old victim, hitting him in the hand.

The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he is expected to survive.

The shooter fled the scene in a black 2019 Nissan heading south on Flatbush Avenue, police said.

The residents were stunned by the incident.

“It feels like the quality of life is going downhill,” said one local who wished to remain anonymous.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
