1 dead after reported drowning in Grand Lake

Authorities say one person has died after a drowning accident in northeast Oklahoma. The accident occurred on the evening of July 5 near Grand Lake, police said.

The person reportedly jumped from a dock roof facing the lake and never resurfaced, authorities say.

Shortly afterwards, the GRDA police arrived at the scene and recovered the body.
